So far I haven't been able to second-guess what's about to happen even a paragraph ahead. That's quite the statement for an avid reader with six decades of experience as a blbliophile, believe me. I'm impressed! SANCTION sure opens eyes, quickly. I can't picture anybody missing the application to the world around us; it's right there in black and white and bombings. SANCTION exposes the underside of today's world, with a world in chaos and terrorism as a fact of life - and people standing idly by, watching... and here and there, a few, a very few, resourceful individuals pooling their resources to combat the growing evil. GREAT read, right on target and as current as tomorrow. This release is going to trigger a desperate hunger for more. (Doris)

Is this really a first time novel? Make room in your library for this one because it's a shocker. It should be getting all the awards this year. So well researched it ranks with Clancy; so suspenseful it ranks with Patterson. Look for more great work from this new guy. (Robert)

Enjoyable quick paced read from first time book author. Some sections were very good and provoke interesting ideas. Book shows real side of good people, their vulnerability and how their relationships help to define who they are and how they succeed in life. Book poses a world where hope is not in vain, that a world with such characters can work together under whatever circumstances, where spiritual side of life is valued and needed, though in the background. I thoroughly enjoyed your book, "Sanction". My, what a plot! I had a hard time putting it down and get to some other things I had to do. The short chapters kept me into it, also. I would think, "only one more chapter". You have me worrying as to what is going on in this world now. Hopefully there is no "Plan" out there. (Barbara)
I am about a third of the way through your book. very interesting. compelling read. well written. and, i can't help but suspect/know that a similar force is at play this very day. different details for sure. but what with recent events, it's amazing, re-assuring that you have penned the scenario so well. and that there are others who feel the same... thank you, brother, for making a stand. shalom. Hello. I am Phil, the captivated first reader of the Sanction copy kindly sent to my wife, Elizabeth. I am intrigued by your "Jenkinsesque" [Left Behind Series] literary style and "Grishamic" grace. As an ardent Zionist, I particularly enjoyed Chapter 14 as you introduced Dr. Asch who reminds me of Dr. Chaim Rosensweig, Jenkins’ gifted Jew, the AntiChrist assassin. In Chapter 16, I was struck by the similarity of Pastor Sanders favorite text, Jeremiah 17:7-8 to my own, Psalms 1. This purely demonstrates the fact that the same Author inspired Jeremiah and King David and validates the authenticity of Scripture. Another coincidence in Chapter 16 is that just yesterday I finished a poem on the Book of Nehemiah. My Friend, Dr. Darrell Ludders (Boise, ID) and I are writing Chapter and Verse, a collection of Scripture-based poems. How applicable the crumbling Judean walls to the current assault upon the Constitution, America’s "wall." I also loved the surf analogy in Chapter 18. (I grew up in Redondo Beach.) I have to tell you--I haven't had a chance to start reading your book yet--my husband snatched it from me and now he cannot put it down! lol He said it is one of the best books he has ever read! He commented yesterday, "John Grisham has NOTHING on this guy! Jim Magwood is as good or better a writer than Grisham!" (And Grisham has always been Phil's favorite author!) (Elizabeth)
This is a 'spy' book for this age. As I was reading, it felt as if I were finally understanding what was truly going on behind our daily headlines. While this is fiction it eerily marches along with our everyday reality. It is an end times book which gets you nodding along with the premise. I am looking forward to the next book and the next. Around the world, there are many violent events occurring that do not seem to be connected. Universities being blown up, naval ships disappearing, government files being hacked, missile launches, and innocent people being killed for no reason. These events are every day occurrences, I hear you say, but what if they seemed to be happening more often. What if a group of individuals who would not normally be connected were controlling these events in order to implement the Plan. These individuals are powerful people within their own countries and are grouping together quietly to eventually control the world. This book covers the lives of the most powerful men in the world on both sides of this silent war as they both try to bring the outcome they want. This book follows the progress of the governments trying to stop the Plan coming into fruition and the fate of the world is in there hands. Can they stop these people from taking over the world and changing the way we live forever?
Firstly, I found this choice of story very compelling once I got into it. The plot line was a little scary, as you could actually see how this could happen in real life and wonder whether the governments of the world would actually be able to stop it quickly enough. I definitely think the topic of this book is something I would like to read more about.
Once I had got about 50 pages in, I actually couldn't put the book down, as snippets of information were given to me as the book went on, I would actually sit there and say 'Oh my god!' I could actually see this happening! All I can say is Nostradamus - move over, there is a new prophet in town.
